Introduction to Easymount

An Easymount wide format laminator is incredibly versatile and cost-effective. The range includes everything from entry-level models (Easymount Sign) for those still finishing jobs by hand, to professional heavy-duty thermal models (Easymount Air).

More Than Just A Laminator

You can apply more than just laminates using the Easymount range. It’s also possible to mount as well as lay down application tapes and vinyl, removing the need for squeegeeing by hand.

Digital Control Panel

Take complete control of your Easymount system with the patented multilingual control panel. Designed to be user-friendly, even novice operators will be able to achieve results with complete accuracy, quickly and easily.

Patented Pressure Control

A patented pneumatic pressure gauge handle ensures that you apply the perfect amount of roller pressure to your artwork. Helping you to get the highest quality of finish with every use.

Sophisticated Mandrel Technology

A recent addition to the latest Easymount wide-format laminators enables easy loading of film and vinyl. The swing-out arm system to both the front and the rear enable you to effortlessly load and unload stock with minimal heavy lifting.

Laminating

Lamination is usually applied on one side only with a Pressure Sensitive overlaminate film. Good quality pressure sensitive over laminate film is usually 70 micron in thickness.

The Easymount range has been designed to laminate to the highest standard, and when used in conjunction with our Boss Premium Brand pressure-sensitive overlaminates, gives perfect results no matter what you are laminating.

Mounting

Mounting fixes a print to a substrate/board using an adhesive. This can be permanent or semi-permanent.

Easymount rollers are designed to gate up to 25mm / 1″ wide and will mount onto substrate up to this size.

Encapsulating (Double Hot Models Only)

Encapsulating involves a heat activated thermal film being applied on both sides of the print. The finished result is trimmed to leave a clear border around the edge of the print, therefore encapsulated. Film is available in gloss and matt finishes in a range of thickness from 42 – 250 micron.

The Double Hot Models of Easymount are a perfect solution for any wide format encapsulating requirements.

Pressure Sensitive Over Laminates & Mounting Films

Our Boss Premium Brand Pressure Sensitive Over Laminates come in a wide variety of widths, range between 70-100 micron and we supply a number of different finishes including Gloss, Semi-Matt, Crystal Matt Lustre and Sandtex.

All Boss Pressure Sensitive Over Laminates have a permanent solvent acrylic adhesive, which makes them ideal for outdoor use.

As well as supplying various widths, we also have the capability onsite to cut any roll of pressure sensitive film to the exact width you require – to help you complete your job with ease.

Also in the range of Boss Premium Brand films is our Self Wound Mount Film, again supplied in a range of widths. This is a filmic carrier coated on both sides with an aqueous acrylic adhesive and single release liner.

Wide Format Encapsulating Film

With high quality, premium construction to give the perfect results every time. The range consists of Gloss and Matt finishes and ranges from 42 – 250 micron. Many standard widths are available, however, we can also cut rolls of film onsite to any size you require.

Self-adhesive Vinyl

The Boss range of printable media are available in many widths and finishes; gloss, clear and matt. With permanent and removable adhesive, our newest product is the Boss ‘Smooth Remove’ which features air release technology, allowing the vinyl very easy to work with when applying.

Easymount Flow 1600 Finishing Table

The top of the worktable sits at the same height as the exit plate of the award-winning Easymount 1600, so vinyl, roll-up banners and foam boards exit the system and continue straight onto the table. The Easymount Flow is completely modular. Additional table sections can be added which cleverly lock together, allowing you to create your bespoke size.

Additional Mandrels

Additional Mandrels are available to enable swopping rolls of film over even quicker and easier.

Take-up Unit

Motorised Take-up units are available for all Easymount models. These are easily attached to the back of the machines and are ideal for anyone wishing to laminate reel to reel.
