The Matrix Duo is an innovative laminating system designed for laminating and encapsulating. Giving the flexibility of single-sided lamination, encapsulation and even double side lamination, providing an affordable and effective solution, compared to outsourcing.

More Than Just A Laminator

Single side litho and digital laminating is a popular requirement for printers and copy shops wanting to laminate a whole host of printed media from business cards to menus. To outsource this work, can be a huge cost on small businesses and so the Matrix Duo has been designed to allow the flexibility of single side lamination AND encapsulation providing an affordable and effective solution.

Smart Features

The unique anti-curl bar on both Matrix Duo models allows the thinnest of laminates to be applied without the worry of a curled finish.

Digital Control

The easy-to-use control panel takes virtually no training, yet it offers you complete control over every job.

Encapsulating

Encapsulating involves a heat activated thermal film being applied on both sides of the print. The finished result is trimmed to leave a clear border around the edge of the print, therefore encapsulated. Lamination film is available in gloss and matt finishes in a range of thickness from 42 – 250 micron

A single-sided laminator is a perfect solution for high-quality lamination of business cards, flyers, book covers, greetings cards and much more.

Double-Sided Lamination

With the Matrix Duo, you can laminate both sides of the sheet at exactly the same time.

Boss Premium Brand Encapsulating Roll Film

With high quality, premium construction to give the perfect results every time. The range consists of gloss and matt finishes and ranges from 42 – 250 micron giving you a finish of up to 500 micron. Many standard widths are available; however, we can also supply any specialist film, or sizes that you require.

Boss OPP Laminating Film

Available in either digital or litho, Boss OPP films give your prints a premium look and feel. The wide variety of textures and finishes means we can provide you with the most suitable laminate for any job.

Stands

Although they are desktop systems, the Matrix Duo can be supplied with an optional stand.

The stands have a base plate to store any additional rolls of film and also, they are on the wheels to make moving your Matrix Duo simple.

Film Perforating System

Designed to make your life easier, the perforator attaches to the top of the machine, to perforate the film and make it easier to slit as your job comes out laminated at the back of the machine without the need for a knife/scissors.

The perforator can be moved to perforate the film at whatever width you require.

Additional Mandrels

Extra mandrels are available as optional extras for both Matrix Duo models, to make the transition between gloss and matt, 25mm / 1″ and 77mm / 3″ core film quick and easy, again saving you time and enabling you to work more efficiently.
