An Introduction to XPD
Established back in 2012, Leamington Spa based XPD Print specialise in providing digital printing across a broad spectrum of products. They also offer a wide variety of finishing services. Supported by their Matrix-530p and their VeloBlade, they provide an impressive range of foiling, spot-UV effects, lamination, personalisation, packaging, kiss-cut labels, POS and much more.
Discussing combining their Matrix and VeloBlade, Colin told us, “We’re able to produce an array of different types of packaging, many of which are soft touch laminated and foiled. The combination of the Matrix and VeloBlade enables us to efficiently produce unique and interesting products with relative ease. We’ve even started producing POS and are taking die-cutting orders from local printers”.

With the vision of bringing more work in-house, expanding the services they offer as well as reducing costs and carbon footprint, XPD thought the VeloBlade to be the ideal system to help them achieve these aims.
