Fordingbridge Print Forges Ahead With Veloblade Volta

Keeping work in-house, offering a competitive service and providing outstanding quality are important to us

New Forest based Fordingbridge Print is part of the Time 2 Display Group of companies. With a combined team expertise of over 200 years, they have always been innovative and forward thinking. Their experience within the print world has made them early adopters of new ideas and emerging markets. They are a company that have the ability to offer a turnkey solution from concept through to delivery, so whether your requirement is for small or large format, they have a solution.

Fordingbridge Print invest regularly in new kit  and equipment and are continually working on new products and ideas to grow the business. They recently decided to invest in a VeloBlade Volta 69+ digital die-cutting system from Vivid, to bring the process in-house, making the company more competitive and enabling faster turnaround times for shorter runs.

"We looked at various options and the Veloblade Volta 69+ system ticked all the boxes as a long-term investment for us and was the best fit for our growing needs. From start to finish it has been a joy to work with the Vivid Team. From initial enquiry to the installation team (who were amazing), the process has been seamless. Fordingbridge Print offers exceptional customer service and we’re glad to say we have received the same service from Vivid. The build quality of the equipment is excellent and moving forward we see a long relationship with Vivid."

What made Fordingbridge Print choose a Veloblade Volta?

“By installing the Veloblade Volta 69+ we can now automate many of our jobs, offer bespoke packaging and much more. With our design team we can move both quickly and expertly to promote these new offerings. It is important for us to keep work in-house, offer a competitive service and offer outstanding quality. With the purchase of the VeloBlade, we will be able to achieve these objectives,” explained Nicola Anten, Director at Fordingbridge Print.

"The first live job we ran on the system was for some oversized A4 folders, cut to shape and creased. Further jobs in production included a shaped swing ticket with a 4mm hole in one corner and a custom shaped box for a local handmade cosmetics company. One of the best features of the system has been the ability to kiss-cut self-adhesive paper to make our own bespoke labels on an SRA3 sheet. If we don’t have the labels on the shelf, we just make our own,” added Nicola.
