Printlux, a Shropshire-based print business that began by producing bespoke signage, has announced a significant new investment marking the next stage of its growth journey. The Bridgnorth-based company has completed a major upgrade in advanced finishing technology, supported by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), further strengthening its position as an innovative and ambitious manufacturing business serving customers across the UK.
Impressed by the performance of their VeloBlade Nexus, Printlux has invested in the Easymount Hybrid system from Vivid Laminating Technologies.
Rather than simply adding another system to its production floor, the investment completes Printlux’s fully integrated print, cut and finish workflow, enabling the company to manufacture an even broader range of products entirely in-house from its Shropshire headquarters.
The new technology supports the continued expansion of services including vehicle branding, commercial signage, exhibition graphics, retail displays, labels and stickers, protective laminates, and trade finishing services.
For customers, the benefits are immediate: faster turnaround times, greater quality control, increased production capacity, and a wider range of services available under one roof.
The investment marks another milestone in the evolution of Printlux, which has grown from a specialist signage business into a modern manufacturing company producing thousands of products each year for businesses, retailers, schools, venues, events, and organisations across the UK.
Supported through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), the project demonstrates the positive impact of strategic investment in enabling local businesses to innovate, scale, and compete on a wider stage, while continuing to manufacture locally.
The Easymount Hybrid system, supplied by Vivid Laminating Technologies, combines traditional roll-fed lamination with flatbed mounting capability, offering the flexibility required to support an expanding range of commercial print applications.
As Printlux continues to grow, its focus remains unchanged: investing in technology, supporting local manufacturing, and delivering high-quality products to customers nationwide.
With this latest addition, the final piece of the production puzzle is now in place.
