Signs Express has announced a deal with Vivid Laminating Technologies following an assessment of its Easymount range and has selected it as their preferred wide format laminator. Installation, training and servicing on all new Easymount Systems will be carried out at Signs Express franchise stores by Vivid’s team of engineers.
Justin Pearce, franchise manager at Signs Express, said, “The Easymount laminator ticks all of the right boxes for our production centres and perfectly complements our other equipment. With a few of the laminators already installed at some of our existing centres, we’re looking forward to working with Vivid when specifying equipment for new branches and also advising franchisees on upgrades to their machinery.”
Lewis Evans, Vivid’s product manager, adds, “Signs Express is the UK & Ireland's largest sign franchise and the award-winning Easymount is the No.1 wide format laminator in Europe. We are very pleased to be partnering with Signs Express and their selection of the Easymount as their 1st choice laminator.”
The Easymount saves time and money by laminating in-house. It can help with a range of applications in the signage market, including posters, graphics, signs, exhibition stands, roll-up banners and vehicle graphics. The range can also lay down application tapes & vinyls and mount onto a wide range of substrates up to 30mm in thickness.
Many of the systems within the range benefit from a patented pressure gauge handle, lift-up feed table, magic eye safety feature and optional take-up unit for reel-to-reel lamination. Running at speeds from 5 to 10m a minute, Vivid has also recently introduced new side slitters on both the best-selling 1.6m wide Air and Single Hot Easymount systems. The new technology automatically cuts through laminated vinyl when completed and works in synchronisation with the take-up reel.
The complete Easymount range is available in cold, heat assist and hot options, from 650mm wide up to 2100mm widths, meaning that there is a system to suit every need and application.
Vivid has also announced their attendance at this year’s Signs Express National Convention. Taking place at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire on 24th & 25th November, the annual event features inspirational keynotes along with presentations from the Signs Express management team.
