  • Print Solutions September 2016 - Enter the Matrix

    11 November 2016

Philip Dodd, managing director of Healeys Print Group spoke to Print Solutions about their new Matrix Laminating System in the September issue of the magazine.

These are just a few of Philip's reviews of the system:

"The Matrix is a great way for smaller printers to cost effectively add value to business - it has some clever effects."

"We have seen an increase in the amount of laminating work and outsourcing was no longer viable, so we bought the Matrix to handle this."

"The details have to be top quality. For short runs, the Matrix is so cost effective."

"It is very easy to use and set up."

  • Print Monthly August 2016 - Laminating and Encapsulating

    11 November 2016

August's Print Monthly magazine included a feature by Russ Hicks on laminating and encapsulating.

Russ spoke exclusively to Liverpool-based Oriel Studios for the article, and the cost-savings they are now making since installing a new Matrix Laminating System and using Vivid's Boss range of OPP Laminating Films.

"We would drive our prints down to another company to be laminated, then go and pick them up when done. Prices were getting higher and the set-up charge alone making it more prohibitive. It is so much more cost-effective to bring it all in-house."
